Ondato Becomes Newest ASACP Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 8, 2026) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce Ondato as its newest Corporate Sponsor.

Now in its 30th year, ASACP is an award-winning, globally recognized, member- and sponsor-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting online child safety by proactively helping parents and businesses protect children from online harms.

ASACP’s sponsors are respected industry leaders committed to ethical and responsible business practices. They implement and promote technical and procedural means to improve online child safety, helping shield minors and sensitive viewers from age-inappropriate content.

ASACP’s newest Corporate Sponsor, Ondato, provides identity verification, age assurance, KYC, KYB, AML, and online safety technology to organizations operating in regulated and high-risk digital environments.

Ondato’s platform-protection capabilities help address challenges across the digital lifecycle — from determining whether someone is old enough to access a service, through creator and performer verification, consent, and ongoing content monitoring.

Ondato also combines technology with a consultative approach, working directly with clients to understand their specific challenges rather than simply providing individual compliance products.

“Joining ASACP is an important step for Ondato because we believe the next phase of online safety has to be built through collaboration,” said Ondato’s Commercial Director Gavin Worrall. “We already work with platforms to address complex challenges around age assurance, identity, performer verification, consent and content. But the technology industry cannot solve these challenges in isolation.”

“We want to listen to ASACP members, understand the challenges they are facing and contribute our technology, expertise and experience wherever we can make a meaningful difference,” Worrall explained. “We also strongly believe that protecting people and protecting revenue are not opposing objectives. When done properly, safety and compliance can strengthen trust, reduce operational risk, and support sustainable growth.”

To mark its first practical commitment to the community, Ondato is offering ASACP members a 15% discount across its services.

“Our philosophy is simple: Protect the user. Protect the platform. Protect the revenue,” Worrall concluded. “This means helping platforms implement robust safety and compliance measures without creating unnecessary barriers for legitimate users.”

ASACP’s Executive Director, Tim Henning, commended Ondato for joining as the latest stakeholder who supports the mission, emphasizing that every sponsor plays a vital role in helping the association promote a safer online environment.

“The commitment of industry leaders to protect the innocence of youth and honor adults’ choices is creating a positive impact,” Henning said. “Their efforts and core principles contribute to building a better, safer world. And Ondato’s generous offer to our members makes compliance and safety even more affordable.”

ASACP’s sponsors and members provide the reach and resources the association needs to provide free child protection tools to educators, parents, and media publishers. These include Best Practices customized for various market segments and a versatile Code of Ethics for all website and app publishers. These resources enable companies of all sizes to prevent minors from accessing age-restricted content.

Among ASACP’s most notable achievements are its RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system, which prevents children from accessing adult-oriented web pages and apps and works alongside other age assurance technologies, and its CSAM Reporting Tipline, which has processed over 1.3 million reports since its inception and remains a vital global resource.

The association’s family of industry leaders, including Corporate Sponsors such as Ondato, is crucial in making these tools available to the broader community.

“Safeguarding youth online goes beyond blocking mature content; it also involves educating and empowering the industries handling this material,” Henning concluded. “We appreciate Ondato’s support in promoting children’s online safety and urge others to join us in advancing this effort.”
